About
A steady piece in D minor at 90 BPM, over the progression i Isus4 v VII i II+ VII. Bass plays a syncopated groove in the low register. Drums keep a broken beat with open hats on the off-beats. A sparse leaping lead in the low-middle register paints a flat contour, repeating a 1-bar motif. Sustained chords in the middle register, changing every bar. Gated chords in the high register, changing every bar.
